One Visit Inlays and Crowns are now available with CEREC AC CAD CAM technology!

The process of repairing a tooth with porcelain crowns (caps), veneers, or porcelain fillings (Inlays) is now possible in only one visit using the latest in CAD/CAM technology. Previous methods required two appointments with temporary crowns and gooey molds of the damaged tooth.

Now, a camera captures a digital picture image of the tooth to be repaired and a computer creates a 3 dimensional virtual model of the tooth. Specialized computer software is used to design the virtual replacement crown/veneer/filling and is then milled from a porcelain block.

 

 

The crowns, veneers and porcelain inlays (fillings) can be custom colored and shaded to match your existing teeth as closely as possible. The entire process takes between 45 minutes to two hours depending on the complexity of your teeth.
